Introduction:
As so far as The Minister’s Black Veil Summary is concerned  Mr. Hooper, the parson entered to the church to convey his sermon on the Sabbath. Men, women and children were in attendance there to obtain him. He was thirty year old, perhaps he was  bachelor, he always dresses up in clerical he had an extraordinary  look. He wore on face a black veil. It completely hidden his features. except his mouth and chin. The veil consisted of two folds of crape.
Reaction of the people:
People, who had come to listen his sermon were surprised to see him with a black veil on his
face. They showed a sort of restlessness and anxiety at it. Everybody had his remark to offer.
The women having weak nerves left the congregation to see him in this awful shape. He
delivered a very touching and inspiring lecture. At the close of the lecture, the people quicken out with confusion. Some people gathered in little circles. They assumed about the black veil. Some talked noisily and profaned . The Sabbath day with loud laughter. The surgeon of the

Ans: The Minister’s Black Veil  in critical analysis sense the theme of the story is very vivid, clear and noticeable. The black veil which Mr. Hooper, the religious man, wears is a sign in which he conceals his secret sins. They story writer describes of the story through the personality of Mr. Hooper, Mr. Hooper suggests to his lover Elizabeth if he wearing the black veil, to wrap his sins, the other persons would also like to do it. This reveals that we are all sinner that every one of us conceals his sins, which he commits in isolation, Mr. Hooper has the valor to hide sins by putting a veil on his face. In fact, he is making his sins observable and undo to other people. He is a simple, honest and clear-cut person. We set out and move in the world, loaded with our sins.
We do not build an open confession of them. Mr. Hooper is not a fraud person rather he is realistic and not to be a hypocritical. He does not
hide his sins rather he disclose publicly. He has  inwardly that feelings and outwardly he also have the same things, it means that he has not have double standard in his life .Mr. Hooper narrates his beloved Elizabeth that the black veil is the sign  and . He is originated to wear it both in light and darkness. At the end of the story, he points out to people
footing round his deathbed that he looks a veil on the face of each one of them. The major theme of story is progressed here. It tells that everyone has secret grief or sin that is hidden from all others, People are not ethically daring like Hooper to tell that they are immoral.
They have to wear black veil like Hooper, but they do not do so. They have determined to keep
the secrets in their hearts. Hooper makes a bold show of his secret sins by putting a black veil on face.

The story gives out another important thing. It is very not easy to make open the sins of
one’s life. A person, who does it, has to pay a great cost for it. He has to live a life of loneliness and isolation. People initiate to hate such person. They do not admit him as the part of their society. Mr. Hooper is described to have a dreadful face’. A person remarks that the black veil makes him “ghost like from head to foot”. The congregation feels troubled at his manifestation. The children are frightened of him. His figure appears alarming to everyone who looks at him. People attempt to remain detached from him. The Minister’s Black Veil  in critical analysis sense the story “THE MINISTER’S BLACK VEIL ” is a symbol of sins. It is a symbolic story and has very much symbolism. Mr. Hooper is a pastor in a church. One day he comes in church for presidents. He comes to church from his cabin. He wears the black veil. His black veil is a symbol of sins , black veil symbolizes that sins that have been done by the minister’s act who uses all the time on his face. All the women, children and other people feel fear by him. When people ask him to about his mask, so, he says that he is very much irreligious. He had done many bad works in my solitude. Now he has wore the black veil because  ” you know that I am bad person” . He uses the black color. His point of view is that black color is represented to evil, hell and crime.

Therefore, He uses the black mask. The black veil is not a piece of cloth but it reveals that he is very despised. When he tells to his lover about his mask, she leaves him. He narrates to her that people should wear the black veil. They are very mutineers of their God

The Minister’s Black Veil  in critical analysis sense  the Minister’s Black Veil is a very much symbolic story. The story runs round the character of Hooper, the clergyman. He is thirty and unmarried. When Hooper comes in the story, he is in a black veil on his face. In this way, he has alienated himself from the spiritual congregation to whom he is going to convey a sermon. The black veil has made him a horrible figure. Men, women and children keep away from him and feel bothered at his arrival.
The question is that What is in the black veil which causes trouble for everybody?
If we study the story significantly, then we approach to know that the black veil is not a black piece of cloth which hides Hooper’s visage. Hooper speaks to his lover Elizabeth that the veil is a ‘symbol and a type’ . He tells her if he has worn it to conceal his pathos and secret sins; there are ‘other morals who have pathos dark enough to be typified by a black veil’. He says that if he has worn on the veil to cover his secret sins, there are many mortals who have to do the like that as he is doing now..
The above conversation between Mr. Hooper and his lover reveals that the black veil is the
sign to hide something depraved and disgraceful. Black refers to obscurity. It links to night, death, sin and melancholy . A veil covers someone and sets him or her, off the world. It employs that black veil is the sign to hide something objectionable which if uncovered, will be attended by ache, loss and disjointing.
Mr. Hooper wears the black veil to hide some of his underground sin and some strange grief.
He is fairly resolute to wear it in darkness or in light. This black veil has divided him ‘from the
cheerfulness of brotherhood and woman’s love’. He has become an outsider in society. He has to put up with the pangs of separation and taking apart. But he to unveil himself. The story elaborates that it is the visibility of sin which makes a person a shocking figure.
