The tempest king Alonso is the character depicted as the King of Nepal in the play tempest . His character is dominated by both cowardly behavior and aggressive behavior. He was led by his inner desire to kill his own brother. His innate desire motivated him to kill his own brother. He is an intermediate sort of person. He is not too good or pious and a bad or vicious character. He was depicted as the enemy of Prospero, but he was also led and derived by his innate flattery.
His grief on the death of his son
The tempest king was too much grieved and dejected at the death of his son. When he hears the news of the death of his son he felt madness. As a result of this situation, he acted badly with the other characters.
He aided Antonio to deceive Prospero

He wants to repent over the burden of sins. He wishes to be a good guy in the end. He became happy when he finds that his son is alive. He felt too happy to find his son again. He was an aggressive sort of man. He became aggressive at some moment. He does not seem to wrap his own mind about different situations. He does not rely on his abilities. He does not rely on his own senses and abilities. He is a kind of horrible type of character. He is a blend of trusting character and naïve characters.
His reconciliation to himself

He is an intermediate sort of man in the play. He soon resents his innate desires and became a sort of vicious character. He has no ability to control his desires in the play. Gonzalo tries to install positive and ideal thoughts. Gonzalo tries to advise him in order to save him from the evil path. He puts himself in difficult situations by acting like a fool and revengeful man. He says in response to his advice that; ‘’you cram these words into mine ears against the stomach of my senses’’. He moves between different characters in real manners and real events. But sometimes he proves to be a stubborn and rigid sort of man in different situations.
Lack of worldliness wisdom in him as a ruler
He does not take much care about the desire of his subjects. He was confronted by a sense of guilt for his wrong decisions in the play. He became remorseful and guilty at the end of the play. He was instantly started to feel the guilt of his conscience. He was not able to decide about the different situations. He lacks the abilities to stand before his own mind.
