Heavy snow falls in these areas. The animal life is disturbed very much. Most of the birds die because of heavy cold. The ground is covered with heavy snow. Although cold is increased in these areas yet life continues in all fields of life. People wear warm and soft clothes in winter season. Morning and evening become very cold and chilly. The cold cuts through the bodies. The birds continue singing melodious songs. A lot of deaths are not to be seen in the season in Pakistan.

In northern areas particularly in Murree the roads are blocked. The birds disappear. Life seems to be at its stand still. People remain inside the walls of their homes most of the time. They gather different articles for the use of the winter season.
